Biography:
Alina is a Graduate Assistant at the Illinois Leadership Center and a PhD student in East Asian Languages & Cultures. She supports leadership development across campus through delivering workshops around campus as an Education team member as well as via advising students on their Leadership Certificate progress. Her research on international student experiences and cross-cultural learning informs her work and fuels her commitment to empowering students to grow as leaders. Alina is passionate about creating meaningful, inclusive spaces where students can explore their strengths, discover their stories, and take intentional steps toward their goals.
Outside work, Alina is an avid reader with a newly found passion for fantasy novels as well as a reformer pilates enthusiast.
